    HDMI Input

    Hi there, does anyone know how to enable the hdmi input feature on VIX? i currently have it working on latest VTi image... although i cannot record sound from it...

    i have my old panasonic dvd / vhs recorder connected via a splitter box to bypass hdcp. i only want to record some old home videos from the vhs on to there. i can record them, but there is no sound...

    On OpenVix, Blue button shows you extra options

    Turn on HDMI-IN in full screen mode
    Turn on HDMI-IN in PiP mode


    You can also add following to your bouquets
    #SERVICE 8192:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:
    #DESCRIPTION HDMI-IN

    If its a driver issue then contact the manufacturer - they are the people who create and update the drivers.

    we also need to confirm with users with devices that have hdmi in. lx3, atemio, GB quad 4k and a few others. Vu also have Uno 4k se and Ultimo 4k.

    Hi,
    copy a recording to your PC and inspect it with the PC tool MediaInfo. Normally sound should be in AAC I think. What sound format has your source? Perhaps not all formats can be recorded.

    hi, there is no audio stream when checking on media info. and in vlc under audio all that is displayed is

    Surely he should be able to hear audio in "live" mode?
