    DVB-C/T Tuner not showing

    Hello all,

    Recently i bought this box with DVB-C/T tuner to replace my dead Vu Solo SE.

    I flashed it normally with latest openVix but no tuner is appearing under Configuration/Tuner.

    It's necessary to install some plugins to this tuner be recognized? Under Solo i never did anything and always recognized both DVB-C and DVB-S tuners that i had.

    I cannot say if under original firmware the problem is the same because the first thing I did was install Openvix and Gigablue website downloads page is down.

    Attach i put the crash log when i click close on tuner configuration.

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Thanks for the answer but:

    OpenViX Enigma2 Crashlog

    Crashdate = Wed Mar 27 19:29:50 2019

    Creator = OpenViX
    Version = 5.2
    Build = 034
    Dev = 001

    (...)

    A little update. I find the original firmware on some other place and the tuner still did not appear. I used as well some other custom firmware from other teams and with the same result.

    Probably something wrong with hardware of the box...

    Have you reflashed like Andy has said?
    Might you be able to remove and reseat tuner in another slot?

    DVB-C/T Tuner not showing

    Probably not a hardware fault. The crash is in satconfig.py

    Which other images have you tried?

    I tried:
    Openpli
    Openatv
    Team blue
    Factory image from Gigablue

    In none of them no tuner is found.

    That crash happens when I click close on tuner selection menu (empty). If I click exit to go back, no crash happens

    Might be combination of two issues. Have you contacted the seller?

    Yes he told me to install one image from TeamBlue. I think I already tested that version but not sure. Already tested so many images that I'm not sure what version of team blue I used. Nevertheless I will try that version and after give feedback.

    You have discovered a bug, receiver crashes when pressing OK in tuner configuration when no tuners are found. I could replicate issue on another receiver.

    And in fact is a bug not exclusive from Vix, because the behavior and crash is the same on openpli and openatv.

    So the tuner is absent for the box. Something wrong with it. I need in fact to solve out with the seller.

    Thanks for your help.
