Video problem

Hello to all.

After image upgrade from 5.2.032 to 5.2.034 I lost possibility to watching video files .
I have plenty mp4 files with video music and movies which worked fine on 5.2.032 image.
The problem is when i play video file (mp4) I can hear only sound but no picture , whats more confusing i can see osd menu
and time elapsing etc. but no video from file just sound.

my current settings for video output is HDMI 1080p 50Hz
but noticed when change it to 1080i 50Hz video files playing without problem
as I said before upgrade to 5.2.034 everything was fine .

I enabled debug log with resolution set to 1080p 50Hz played video file ( no picture ) then changed resolution to 1080i 50Hz ( picture ok )
Can I ask You guys to have a look at it as I cant see any clues in it .

What skin you using? Have you tried a different skin as you have errors in reference to your skin

There was a recent driver change. Probably what caused it

Skin PLi-HD-FullNight on both boxes.
but as mentioned on 5.2.032 everything was working .

5.2.032 is the obvious answer.

Updade.

Today I did try newest 5.2.035 and video problem still there.

Also new problem occured while watching tv channels or playing video files from hdd
after few minutes there is error pop up on screen.

Which oscam version are you using? Please check version in oscam interface

Its looking in above location. Please move your configs to /etc/tuxbox/config/

Video problem still exist with small change
If I play some video files there is no picture only sound
then I press stop and play again and picture comes back ( sometimes straight sometimes after few secconds )

reverting image back to 5.2.032 everything is ok

It looks like 5.2.034 - 5.2.035 have some problem with 1080p resolution. ( 1080i works ok )


Is there any other place to report problem with it ?

I understood your report to say playback of video files was fine before driver update. I presume you are testing the same files.

It does not help mentioning another receiver. When identifying/confirming a problem, you must not add other variables.

Please add comments on link below or phone Technomate directly. They have generally been boring last few years, in the sense that their receivers just work. I am sure they will resolve issue once they confirm it.

Yes am testing same files on same device .
Before update to 5.2.034 everything worked perfect .
I had always set resolution to 1080p and problems stared after 5.2.034.

Update.

Flashed image 5.2.040 and it looks like problem with blank screen in playing video files is sorted ( output resolution is set to 1080p )

But new image and new problem appeared ( no matter what resolution and refresh is set problem exist )
Watching live tv picture is ok
Choosing channel list there is picture preview and in 5.2.040 seems to be problem with it ,
live tv on preview looks like ghosting ( sometimes flickering / sometimes looks like old 8bit pictures ) on full screen no problem picture is ok.
Whats more tricky same video preview of files stored on hdd working ok ( no ghosting or flickering )
But recordings of life tv behave same like live tv ( they ghosting on preview window )

Its very difficult for me to describe this problem so I am attaching 2 pictures from web interface ( but no problem is showing this way )
and 1 picture from mobile phone showing how it looks on tv .

Full screen = no problem
Did try default skin = problem exist
Different resolution and refresh = problem exist
Flashing image 5.2.039 and lower = no problem ( but old problem return with 1080p )
