41000 unable to select in ABM therefore unable to Tune

Hi I have just moved to a different VM provider area, According to the list provide by cactikid on the sticky Thread "Virgin NetID & Tuning Frequencies (Nit Analyser)" my area should be

    Leyland_Lancs. ex_C&W 41000 531.000

I cant select this area on ABM as it doesn't exist. I tried following the instructions in the above mentioned Sticky Thread by downloading the Nit_Analyser IPK but even though it ran successfully dvbc.xml, nit.bin and nit.log couldn't be found it the /tmp/directory.

I am able to do a full frequency scan and all the channels are successfully found, but the ABM EPG is getting very out of date with many channels having been removed since the last time it ran successfully

    can you please advise.

    Thanks for any help.

    Which receiver do you have?
Did you manually install dvbsnoop? If so, from where did you get it?

HI, I have a GigaBlue HD quad and I installed it using method 1, put the IPK on a USB, stuck it in the box and installed it when I was offered the option.
I am not 100% sure but it looks to have installed a different provider for me to select "Virgin IE" but I have looked at the options that gives me and 41000 is not there also if I select the 2 Unknown options the scan still fails.

You are looking for 41000, maybe it does not exist. Lets not focus on it.

Can you post a screenshot of when the nit nalyser plugin finishes please

Can you then run those commands on post 2.

Hi, getting error 145 for all 3 commands

    root@gbquad:~# dvbsnoop -s sec -tn -timeout 3000 -b -f 0x40 -n 400 0x10 > /tmp/nit.bin
Error(145): read (PID 0x0010): Connection timed out

    root@gbquad:~# dvbsnoop -s sec -tn -timeout 3000 -b -f 0x46 -n 500 0x11 > /tmp/sdt46.bin
Error(145): read (PID 0x0011): Connection timed out

    root@gbquad:~# dvbsnoop -s sec -tn -timeout 3000 -b -f 0x42 -n 500 0x11 > /tmp/sdt42.bin
Error(145): read (PID 0x0011): Connection timed out

I think I have attached the requested screen shot.

That screenshot was of installation process.

Have you restarted (normal after installing a plugin), selected a cable service, and then run the plugin?

Ok, that makes sense, I did check the plugins section but didn't think to reboot, anyway I have done that now and it has worked (I did need to disable my 2 Sat tuners first, I was getting the error 145 )

So I should do the commands from post 2 now?

If it worked, it should have created the files, please upload the files.

We were only doing post 2 because you said it did not work.

    Your NetID is not 41000.

You will have to check your official receiver or try them and see which one is the correct one. Have a look at the dvbc.xml file and try the ones that are nearest to you.
