    Random freezing and self booting

    Hi,
    Problem just started recently.
    Box reboots when pressing the up arrow (above the OK button) on remote - the arrow button shows list of channels.
    Other times, just reboots without user activity.
    Had the unit for 5 years without problems. Maybe its time is up.
    Be good to resolve this.

    I'd suggest a new flash and setup without a settings restore. Set everything new, ensure EPG data is stored on a USB or HDD.
