    OScam Flex Installer

I have a Vu+ Duo currently on Openvix 4.2.028 and CCcam 2.30 my NC+ card was clearing fine and they sent an FEDC update to the card. I was told to install OScam Flex and that would clear the card again. I now have the OScam flex installer in my plug ins I then pressed the green button to download Mipsel then yellow button select FEDC it then installed I then pressed yellow button for arm and selected the yellow button for FEDC. Everything installed from the tmp file and my box restarted. When I got into softcam manager I just see CCcam 2.30, I take it I should see OScam in here then select to use it?

Anyone offer any assistance really stuck at the moment............

Put the Mipsel version of the plugin in the tmp folder. Then Blue button > ViX > Install local extensions > Green button to download.

    Here is what I tried
Ok here is what I've done now moved enigma2-plugin-extensions-oscamflexinstaller_3.1_all.ipk to tmp folder blue button then Vix install local extension green button to install the ipk installs then restart GUI now yes. I then go menu plugins OScam Flex Installer plugin is there select it green button to download Mipsel yellow button to select FEDC version now it doesn't want to install that version. I might just have to reflash and reimage and start over?

Images use different methods of softcam manipulation as well as location. Can you attach the ipk here so I can have a look.

If you want to, you can use 7zip to unpack the ipk. For ViX, transfer the softcam to /usr/softcams. Make sure it has 755 properties, it should be able to start.

The ipk installs a plugin which then installs the softcam. It does not do Vix verision, but does the others.

Attached are config files and softcam binaries. I have attached the arm one too. Although not for you others may want it.

    config files go in /etc/tuxbox/config-flex/
softcam binary ( after unzipping) goes in /usr/softcam/ make sure it has 755 properties.
