Vu+ ultimo. dual tuner. No onid or tsid on D

    Hi
It's a vu+ ultimo (Not 4k). 1 T2 tuner working. 1 single dvb-s2 tuner also working and 1 dual dvb-s2 tuner. On the dual tuner C works fine. D won't find any stations. On signal finder the D tuner has SNR:100% AGC 91% but no ONID or TSID....All the dvb-s2 tuner's set the same... Advanced
    Appreciate any suggestions
    Thanks.

I should also point out. I installed blackhole
. Just to check the tuner and it works just fine. So not a hardware problem.

Are the two images you are comparing using the same drivers?

You need to be specific as to what frequency you are checking when using Signal finder.

    Hi
    Thanks for the reply
As far as driver's are concerned I really don't know.
The frequency on all the dvb-s2 tuner's is 11836. The satellite is 28.2E Astra.

Menu/Information/About or something similar will give you driver details.

I have now installed Multiboot from vix plugins
When I switch to blackhole tuner D works (searches for and finds stations)

Do you know what BlackHole has done to make it work?

    Hi
    I have no idea.
What i do know is it use to work fine. I think it stopped working when I updated to 5.0 from 4.
I don't have an older version to check.

I am following this closely I had to return the dual tuner because I could not resolve this issue I tried every scenario and could not get it to work with the vix image, I was not interested in black hole, if this could get sorted I would buy the dual tuner immediately, I received lots of help on this forum and no one could resolve this for me,... Eagerly awaiting a resolution on the vix image

Thanks for pitching in. I was beginning to think it was just me. So it's a bit more likely that it's software rather than hardware or user error.

    Hi Aiden,
I have turned on my laptop for the first time in a while and the last image I have is openvix 4.2.13 zip file which I would have downloaded from the site. would this help to check if it used to work? Might be worth a try
