    HMDI CEC and Philips

    Hi.

I just updated from either 5.0.017 or 5.1.004 (not sure, but one of these, startup pic
had a large spacestation) to 5.2.024.
Everything went fine, all work except the HDMI CEC on the new version. In previous
VIX installation I used default setting in HDMI CEC and only updated the HDMI ID
(in my case 3.0.0), and SAT could turn the TV on and off.

I've played around with the settings, but can't get it to work

My receiver is a VU+ Solo 2 and the TV is a Philips 49PUS7502.

Anyone else that had problem with this? Any advice?

Did you save settings and reboot the solo2?
The receiver has to be rebooted for HDMI CEC to take effect.

Thanks, that did the trick... Didn't know a reboot was required, and it's not mentioned anywhere...

    Once again, thanks.

Just remember, e2 boxes are mini linux computers and treat installing plugins or altering settings might/require a GUI reboot or in some cases a full reboot.
