    Strange kernel process

    Hi All,

I was looking at running processes with ps and noticed a strange process listed as [ddddddddddddddd] below:

USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND
    [snip ...]

    root 1302 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? S Jan21 0:00 \_ [usb-storage]
    root 1334 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? S Jan21 0:01 \_ [jbd2/sda1-8]
    root 1335 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? S< Jan21 0:00 \_ [ext4-rsv-conver]
    root 1382 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? S< Jan21 0:00 \_ [bioset]
    root 1516 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? S Jan21 0:17 \_ [ddddddddddddddd]
    root 1517 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? S Jan21 0:06 \_ [nxsched]

Any idea what this process is?
    Kind regards,

    Mick
