Just noticed something else, may be hardware but didn't notice when using ATV.

On a channel change, the LED appeared to be slightly flickering, so went into LED manager, didn't change anything but did press save, now on a channel change, the number comes up for a few seconds, then when it goes back to clock, it flickers between clock and channel number for a few seconds before the clock becomes solid.

I have setup for regular backups+Imagebackups and set a custom prefix.

I've put the updated imagemanager.py on and it seems to be backing up OK, like I said, I've not gone back to default settings

Dunno what your setting, but front panel is working like any other 7 Segment LED display in OpenViX here. Shows clock all the time. If you key in a channel number then press ok, channel number briefly shows, then reverts back to clock. On reboot will briefly show clock > channel number > then clock and remains on clock. All 7 segment displays behave this way in OpenViX.

On channel change using CH UP / DOWN breifly shows channel number then reverts back to clock, this is normal.

If it does it on channel change it’s normal, that’s how 7segment displays have been setup.

All 7 segment displays have been set the same.

There is no previous ViX image to do a restore from, I did consider restoring a backup from ATV but decided against that

That is not part of OpenViX image, looks like you installed a plugin somehow.

You have got vfdcontrol installed in system plugins, you need to remove it.

Dunno how he's installed it becuase the feeds aint even online yet!

I don't know either but vfdcontrol will add the led settings to the front panel display menu and cause all sorts of weird problems on an Arm box.

I meant settings backup ... I see more and more people transferring settings from another different receiver
