DVBSnoop scan on Linux help with the output

I trying to use DVBSnoop on a amlogic device.

I install it on my s905 device and it worked first time. The output I am getting now is not what I got first time round. I could read nit and get EPG data displayed first time I tried.

My question is, is the data sent down through DVB-C encrypted that DVBSnoop can't read?

    When I run
    HTML Code:
    dvbsnoop -s feinfo
I can see my tuner there, with min max frequency but no minimum max symbol rate.

I try to run this command and it just don't do anything

    HTML Code:
    dvbsnoop -s sec -tn -ph 2 -pd 4 -f 0x40 -m 0xFF -n 500 0x10
It's part of the original autobouquet by lraizer.

What can I do to debug? I'll post all my outputs later

Hi, it is a wetek play 2. First time I ran it I managed to create netid_sorted.txt from lraizer script for autobouquet, as a test. Didn't do anything other than create a file with channel names and tid Sid...

This might be a case of "wrong decoding" as mentioned on the dvbsnoop pidscan examples page.

The following output is an example of wrong decoding.
This is because the firmware of the dvb hardware is blanking the scrambling indicator bits in the transport stream packets, when passing these to the user application (e.g. dvbsnoop). This is bad behavior, but unfortunatly dvbsnoop is not able to detect this.

The pids from 0x00FF to 0x09FF are mostly video- and audio pids, but will be wrongly displayed as ATSC, DSM-CC, User-private, or whatsoever... 8(
