    Well recap, its now new from the reset and thats all ive done, do i need add the openatv? The channel search give me 1000 channels... brill and the common ones work, super, but the guides of whats on are empty. Moving now!! Brill

    image openvix 5.1 - I did notice i only have tuner b?? i recorded a channel then changed channel and dialog said no tuners left>?

    Ok, i tried again put openatv with your command line still says cant rename latestatv, so i will now get it back to where it was, running on openvix 5.1 but cant understand why i only have one tuner, tuner b

    Might you only have configured tuner b,did you look at tuner a setup and is cable attached correctly?

    Yes, set tuner a equal to b etc, cant find satelite, i check cables also, first go i found all channels, just factory resetting again

    Recap i have both tuners working now and the channels are back, think i may just leave it be, last one, how do i make my channel list a-z?

    Without you saying what tuning hardware is connected to receiver, it is not possible for anyone to advise on tuner configuration.

    You can make your bouquets how you like using programs like EChannelizer, Dreamboxedit, Dreamset. The service list has them in alphabetical order anyway.

    Ive sorted the 2 tuners now, it was cable i think, the only thing is when i leave it on, it reboots sometime later, dont know when and is stuck or booting.. i've no idea

    If it is rebooting after you connected the cable, then there is a fault on the cable/connector/LNB port. Make sure that no loose strands of wire in the f plug. YOu can then try and swap the cables around. If problem moves to the other tuner, then that confirms receiver is OK.

    Forget flashing by that script. You can use Image Manager to flash OpenATV. USING FTP application like Filezilla, transfer the unzipped OpenATV image to /hdd/imagebackups/ There is a video guide to flashing and restoring ( link in my signatures). Ignore the bits about downloading, go straight to the flashing bit.

    Last thing, why should i be using openAtv instead of the openvix which is on the both please? also, do i upload the whole update folder to that destination?

    There are no more Vix images for your receiver.

    You don't have to change the image you have on it if you are happy with it.

    Thxs, i've put the contents of update folder in the hdd/imagesbackup area, vix keeps freezin, had enough, whats next?
