Using enigma2 box as a VPN server

My E2 box is on all the time. I currently externally access my recordings via portforwarding etc. It's not the most secure solution.

I want to take this one step further and connect via a VPN and I want my box at location A to act as the VPN giving me access as if I was connected to the same network sitting there.

I see there are multiple guides for connecting to third party services like express Nord etc. For IPTV etc but I want to use to access my own stuff. Can someone point me in the right direction?

You will need a router that can have its own OpenVPN.
