    IPTV bouquet keeps re-populating

    Hey Guys

I m currenly using my xtrend 10000 and i am on image 5.2006. I added my IPTV bouquet using the WGET file that i was provided. ONce i did this the bouquet was called IPTVSERVICE. I then moved this down and placed it where i wanted. Now every now and then, it keeps putting it back on the top. I even deleted the bouquet and restarted the receiver and it re-appeared again. It does not go away permanently now.

    Why is it doing this?

Delete the script that makes the bouquets

But i want to keep it once and position it at the bottom because i want BBC one to be 101. After i do that, later on a duplicate boqeute with the same name comes at the top. Every time i restart GUI that same boqute keeps appearing.

The IPTV script probably runs after every restart. If so, nothing you can do unless you can change it to place bouquets at end.

Instead of the script, you are best using something like Suls (plugin). You will need to fresh flash again with no settings restores, unless you have an older settings backup which doesn’t include the script.

The script is intended to update any channels etc so by deleting that you won’t get the very up-to-date IPTV channels.

Find out from the provider where the script is located in your box and then delete.

It was in the etc folder enigma 2 called IPTV.sh or something like that. Anyways, lets see how this goes for a while. If i did not delete that file it keeps populating a duplicate boquete every time the receiver re-starts

As noted by Andy, life would be easier if you use the SULS plugin means that you can easily update the IPTV (and tailor the bouqets and contents to your requirements) and if you go to multiple providers handle that in the plugin.

    Hmm ok
Will try that later on. But my provider gave me a WGET file and an M3U file. What is better for enigma 2, using the WGET script or using e-channeliser to upload the m3u to the receiver?

All you need for SULS is a little bit of time (!) to setup the file used by SULS which provides the provide name, the m3u file format for the stream and the epg which I am guessing they have sent to you or its on their web site and you are away.
I have only used echannelizer for services/bouquet handling.
If you use their method you are locked into their requirements, SULS gives you the option to do far more and removes their controls.... I would take 30/45 minutes to look at the suls web site, download the plugin from the feeds and use it.
It also means that if you change provider (not unknown), then you can handle the changes quickly.

No i emailed my provider, he said epg only works with android boxes and smart TV. Now i can use e-chanaliser to get my UK epg but have no idea if its possible to get EPG for any of the other countries.
