    HD51 New Style Remote?

I noticed on the WOS shop the HD51 states it comes with a "New Style Remote"
What is the new style remote and is it available to purchase? As the only thing I dislike about my HD51 is the remote

Are these going to be available to purchase? I find the one that came with my box so awkward to use.

A Logitech Harmony 350 is an alternative. You can program it to jump to 5 different channels just by pressing one button and make the volume buttons change the TV volume rather than the receiver's volume.

I've had a Harmony 650 and then a Harmony Ultimate, I got so annoyed with them both over the years I went back to the original remotes,
using HDMI-CEC the Mutant controls the TV Volume.

Can anyone verify you can use a different remote. For example I can change my xtrend 10000 to be used on my vu remote. Just wandering if it can be done with this receiver.

    Thanks

    Thanks Andy
Yh i think its the same with my xtrend... I select VU. The remote for my solo 2 does not work but the remote for my old style DUO receiver did work. So that was a strange one. Hopefully someone can test a another remote.

    Thanks

On my HD51 if I select ET8000/10000 then the Xtrend remote works fine as far as I can tell.
@Andy Hazza can you just confirm the Xtrend remotes show up on yours as I modded this area (!)
