    First Linux Box

    Hi, I'm new to Linux and thinking of purchasing either the Vu + solo2 or the Tiviar alpha + triple tuner. I'm mainly interested in sat viewing at present. I'm currently using a Technomate 5402 super with 90cm motorised dish. Any opinions on the best box + addons will be welcome so thankx in advance.

    The Vu+ is a great receiver and well supported and very popular. The Tiviar is a decent box too. You could also look at the Mut@nt HD51 too.
