    Hello,
I just received an Octagon SF8008 to replace my old VuZero, but after I downloaded Openpli and Openvix, there is no octagon folder inside...
    - In openvix-6.0.006.release-sf8008_recovery_emmc :
    apploader.bin
    fastboot.bin
    bootargs.bin
    imageversion
    usb_update.bin

    - In openpli-8.1-release-sf8008-20220109_usb :
    apploader.bin
    fastboot.bin
    bootargs.bin
    usb_update.bin

Any help please ? How should I flash it ?
Should I put everything in the usb key in the root folder ?

    Thanks
    ced

Were these files downloaded onto pc or online to box ?

Was there a previous image on box

    OpenATV is installed on it...
I downloaded the latest Openpli stable release "openpli-8.1-release-sf8008-20220109_usb.zip" from Openpli forum : https://openpli.org/download/octagon/SF8008/?
I would prefer to install Openpli as multiboot if possible.

Plenty of outdated plugins are not supported on the newer images and maybe they will or wont be.

Install which ever images multiboot zip on the hdd(NOT the recovery zip). In ATV long press blue button and from there you should find the flash online routines.
You should try the OpenViX image if you plan to keep posting here for help!! With OpenViX much of the original code is similar to OpenPLi, unlike OpenATV where they continuously re-write everything.
From OpenViX you can directly online flash, OpenPli, OpenATV, OpenBH and obviously OpenViX, nobody else is so transparent!

Arf, Thankyou, i installed Openpli from "Flash online -> downloaded images -> Openpli on usb" and it worked, but sadly after SupTV still not working, i decided to boot from Openpli Menu in Recovery menu/mode, and now the box is stuck in recovery menu, i can't return to Openpli or OpenATV (which are installed on multiboot slots 3 and 4) ...

The recovery boot seem not working, i can't see nothing on the TV screen, on the front panel i can see "MECO or NECO" i don't know what this mean, and I can't exit this broken recovery mode, any help please ?
