    cables switching

    Hello,
I am using two coax cables from two dishes. I can only use one cable at a time and that cable goes directly to my Samsung tv that has a satellite receiver built in. When I want to watch channels from the second satellite dish I have to swap the cables at the back of my tv manually.
Is there any device that would allow me to use both cables without swapping them?
I was thinking of buying a switch such as this one
XCSOURCE SAT DiSEqC Switch 4/1 4x1 HDTV Switcher TV LNB Distributor 950-2400 MHz BI129
however, I don't use DiSEqC so I am sure it won't work.
    Many thanks for any suggestions.

A manual A/B switch is the simplest solution.

How does your TV know what satellite you have connected?

Is your TV cable of using a Diseqc switch. This is what you need.

You select satellites from a menu in the tv.
The tv uses a Diseqc switch however, I assume it would not work because the tv would not receive any signal from the Diseqc switch. Besides, there is no option in the tv to specify lnb 1, lnb 2. The manual A/B switch will be good for that.

You don't specify different LNBs when using Diseqc in simple/common setup. You specify which satellite is connected to which port.

You need to add a diseqc switch to your setup. A high isolation switch will require you to operate the buttons when swapping satellite.
