Ensure that no SCR channel is assigned to more than one tuner.

The sponsor sells a 24 channel LNB which is more than adequate for most people.

I've just purchased one of the above but am struggling to get it working on my Alpha+.
I installed the Unicable LNB and configured Tuner A & B as per the lists above and disabled Tuner C.

I dont have any other tuners to configure How do I install addition Tuners (say 7) on the Alpha+.

I want to buy an additional STB and want to make use of the 'spare' channels available on the GT Unicable. How do I do this?

I am new to the the Enigma 2 boxes and the Unicable LNB so a detailled explanation would be helpful.

Unicable LNB is separate from tuner on your receiver.

What tuners do you have on your receiver? Bets thing to do is to post a screenshot

Guide to screenshots in my signature

Did you attach a signal wires to all the satellite tuners with use of a splitter?
    What type of splitter?

I have had plans to make a guide on Unicable for a few months. House move is getting in the way.

General idea is that every tuner connection gets a signal wire. You have to use a splitter to acheive this. Some splitters block certain frequencies, so be careful what you get.

When setting a tuner, you have to ensure each and every tuner uses a unique SCR (Unicable channel number). If you use the same channel on two tuners you will get a problem.

Get your Tiviar working properly before you get another receiver.

The Alpha+ has 2x Fixed Satellite tuners only. They are compatible with Unicable, but you wont get extra tuners. If you want a receiver that gives you more tuners then you'd need to look at a receiver with twin Satellite FBC tuners, these will give you 8 tuners. See below:
