If you manually edit ABM bouquets, next run of ABM will undo the changes. You can hijack ABM bouquets so that they do not use the ABM prefix any more, ABM will no longer touch them.
There are several ways to do it. One way is:
Import ABM bouquets to your PC using a Channel Editor like DreamBoxEdit.
Rename the .tv and .radio files. For example
from
userbouquet.abm.terrestrial_uk_freeview.separator. tv
userbouquet.abm.terrestrial_uk_freeview.main.radio
to
userbouquet.my.terrestrial_uk_freeview.separator.t v
userbouquet.my.terrestrial_uk_freeview.main.radio
Basically replace "abm" with "my"
Edit bouquets.tv and bouquets.radio to reflect the new names
Send back to the receiver with your editor
I am sure this is possible with a script
Many thanks. I realised I was talking out my backside . I started off trying to do it this way when I previously upgraded, but ended up editing the EXAMPLE_hd_sat_282_sky_uk_CustomLCN instead (it was a while ago so I got a little confused).
Have started another thread about that problem, sorry for wasting your time
