Question Cannot flash VIX to replace Open ATV

I had trouble with my Vu+ Duo 2 and finally received a replacement motherboard the other day with Open ATV 6.1 on board.

I played around with it a bit but decided I'd prefer VIX so went through the normal procedure of formatting a USB stick, downloading VIX etc BUT, time after time, despite trying 4 USB sticks, trying variouis USB inputs, formatting with the HP format tool, using teracopy and 7zip the Duo refuses to recognise the USB stick and load up VIX.

Is there an oddity with Open ATV?

I looked for an option to revert the Duo with a factory reset but could not find it. Maybe just as well if there is an oddity with this replacement motherboard. Any suggestions abnout how I can check things out and install VIX?

    TIA

    A frustrated Duo 2 user!!!

    extracted downloaded file to usb?
have you read the flashing guide for your box as some say press a button to start?
no other usb sticks inserted into box and only insert/remove when powered off.

You can flash using "flash online". Yellow button will allow you to choose a local folder.
