Using Tuner B with A not configured works fine. It all works fine in .027 but that should be a workaround for the moment for the OP.

Reason for this on the Solo2 is because it is internally connectable B to A, but not A to B. So Solo2 should always use tuner B as the main option when only one tuner is configured or the box is configured with one tuner as a slave.

That is true that there is an internal loopthrough but in .027 and earlier versions it didn't matter which tuner was configured - it worked.

The driver/hardware bug was always there with the Solo2, it is just that this commit shows the bug.

This other commit was added as a workaround for the same bug on a Solo2 some time ago. https://github.com/OpenPLi/enigma2/c...19d0ab55099cb4

Can affected persons do the following for debugging purposes:

Ensure debug logs are on, GUI restart is required to activate them. We will be restarting at end of next stage, so hold on for this.

    In the followoing directory, /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components
    Rename NimManager.pyo to NimManager.pyo.original

Transfer the attached file to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components
    Leave the ftp client open

    Restart the receiver
Go into the tuner config menu

    In the followoing directory, /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components
Ensure you have NimManager.pyo and NimManager.pyo.original (you may need to refresh FTP client)
    Delete NimManager.py

Please attach debug log to this thread

Didn't you say you were a software developer? You were supposed to run the file and post the debug log.

GigaBlue HD Quad Reduced tuner config menu

Hi, I have the same Tuner config menu after factory reset and flashing the latest image to my Gigablue HD Quad plus. My Mutant HD51 is still with the full Tuner config menu.
