What ViX Image build number are you using?
Please provide your ViX Team image build number. Menu > Information > About > Build number > ENTER THIS NUMBER e.g. 4.2.028

    EPG searching on IPTV

    Hi

    I have been trying to get Searcing the EPG to work on IPTV channels, but it does not. If it could seacrch, i could get auto timer to work any help??

    I am using xtream editor to import channels, but Can chnage this if this helps

    AutoTimers do not work with IPTV using ViX image.

    Yes, OpenVix doesn't support recording with IPTV very well.

    Not sure about ATV but I have read that latest Pli does support IPTV bit better than Vix but can not confirm this to be true as never got around to trying it yet.

    It is fine if service reference continues to remain 1: but as this generally isn't reliable for IPTV, other service types (4097, etc) aren't supported very well.

    However, you can replace known dark channels with IPTV streams instead using ABM but unfortunately this is still limited to using default service type 1: rather than generally more reliable 4097, etc.

    OpenPLI uses a newer version of autotimer.

    Not sure if it just searches lamedb or both (lamedb and bouquets)
