VFD settings - Back up to PC and restore

I'm looking to do a fresh install on my VU+ Duo2.

Before I do this I'd like to ftp my VFD settings to my PC and restore later.

Is this possible? If so, where can I find the settings file please?

Update: I seem to have sorted the method to back up and restore, but when the config file is copied over the larger info screen seems to be bleeding onto it.

I made my own VFD settings and put them in : usr/share/E2/display/vfd "own name" .Think those settings are in the same directory without username.

but the back up didn't work 100% and some of the settings had changed.

Default values are not stored. If a default option changes in the plugin, it will change even though the user has not changed it.

This may explain what has happened.
