Upgrading from Solo 2 to Solo 4k

I'm hoping to upgrade to the solo 4k and hoping someone would know the below.

Can i simply transfer the hard drive from my solo 2 to a solo 4k preserving the recordings and data or will it need formatting?

I presume the VU+ USB DVB-C turbo tuner works with the solo 4k?

    Thanks,

Yes. Do not format/initialise it though.

I know it’s a different architecture but can a settings backup be applied?

Only issue will be host name and tuner configs

Just started moving over to the solo 4k and noticed there is no blind scan option under tuner config? I've flashed the latest build, why is this?

Just a guess, but don't you need a plugin for blindscan?

Could be wrong, but if blindscan is supported by the manufacturer, then they provide a plugin that is built into the image. (Certainly that way for Giga)

Are you saying that blind scan isn’t supported on solo 4k, the option is available on zero 4K?

The solo4k tuners are not blind scan capable as far as I know.
