    Dreambox DM500-C used in botnet attack, more than likely all enigma 2 devices can be exploited.

    Telnet can't be accessed behind a router unless you port forward telnet port to the receiver which would be an incredibly stupid thing to do.

    people still do it. thats how so many IOT devices got compromised.

    More fool them for opening their ports. If users want online access use a proxy server.
