Openwebif forgot password - help in resetting

Is there a way to reset forgotten password for openwebif? Can't remember if originally password was setup but trying to login either by WinSCP or putty throws auth problem.

    Thanks.

Can you not disable this in the OpenWebIF plugin menu?

Have the same problem that i can not remember my password. In the plugin openwebif i can not find any place to reset the password. Is there any possible way to change the password except to do a full reset?

In the OpenWebif Configuration I see only one way - set Enable HTTPS to no. Unfortunately there is no option for resetting.

No such function in OpenWebif apparently.
If you don't remember the root password, it can be changed through the menu / setup / network / password.
Other users' forgotten passwords can be changed when you log in as root through telnet or ssh, then use command passwd with the username as parameter.
