Playing a vcr through the scart port of solo 2

Hi everyone, just need a bit of help please?

I have some old video films I want to watch but my tv does not have a scart lead port at the back but the solo2 has a scart port.
My question is can I connect the vcr to the solo2 via scart so that the signal then gets sent to my television?

SCART may also support component video depending on the settings available on your box that sources the video you want to watch - and the connections/settings on your TV. Component is also phono connections
Component may be labeled YUV, YCrCb etc.
SCART to component leads are available on Ebay

What model TV? What vidoe recorder(?)?

I’ve still got some old tapes if you want them. The tashes on the men are dodgy and the music is annoying but the pictures good
