"Pretty sure" or "believe" are not definite. Please verify and confirm.

Sorry to ask, are you shutting down receiver properly through menus or killing the power to it?

Which image are you on? Version number please.

What is the service reference for the channel?

I'm sure I'm just on OpenTV EPG. I power down the box by using the remote to telling it to go to stand by. I never switch the power off at the mains.

I'm on version 5.1.021. I'm not sure what the service reference for Ch4 HD. I'll try and find out out somehow and will post a reply once I know.

Two ways to find out the reference:

Select the channel. Menu, Information, Service

Select the channel. Connect to Openwebif on PC, click on current service. The reference is shown twice. You can highlight it, copy it and then paste here.

I’m having this exact same problem. Working fine a week or two ago and now Channel 4 HD has no epg. All the other channels are fine. Thought it might of been something to do with Channel 4 pulling the HD content from Freesat a couple of months ago.

Tried deleting my epg and still get the same problem.

The service reference is... 1:0:19:52D0:814:2:11A0000:0:0:0::104 Channel 4 HD

I’m going to give this a go... https://forums.openpli.org/topic/586...g/#entry861203

Old thread, but same old problem on a new box...

Can't seem to get the EPG to refresh for the following channels if I let CrossEPG update daily - so after a week these channels would have no EPG. However, if I delete the epg.dat file and do a new download the EPG will update. HD channels include:
    - Channel 4 HD
    - CNBC HD
    - CNN HD
    - Al Jazeera HD
    - LoveWorld HD
    - Record TV HD
    - Iran International HD
    - Sky Intro

Not sure if the above channels share something in common.

I use Sky UK FTA setup in ABM (AutoBouquetsMaker) & CrossEPG (OpenTV) and works fine for me on my varying boxes.

I've also setup my box with Sky UK on ABM and Open TV....Not sure what the issue is.

What do you mean EPG refresh daily. Please post the full details about all the EPG acquisition methods you are using. What bouquets you use is irrelevant, EPG and bouquets are two different things.
Separate question: What EPG options are you using? It is not the same as what was asked in previous question. Might be easier/simpler for you to post a screenshot (better than taking a picture) of the EPG settings.

By EPG refresh, I meant that CrossEPG is scheduled to do a daily download at around 6:15 AM.

Not sure about what you mean about the EPG acquisition methods. I just use CrossEPG with OpenTV.

    See the attached screenshot

OK, those options are fine. Can you issue this command and report back what you get

    df -Th

It won't affect the viewing of TV as your are doing this on PC.

This next task will affect it.
Can you also enable debug logs, when issue next arises, read your debug log and check for any "corrupt EPG" messages. You can also upload it here if you want someone to check for you. If you have IPTV, your details will be in logs, so don't upload it unless you have edited out.
