Does it work when set to Multi “Refresh Rate”?

Does it work if you swap from 2160 to 1080?

So eventually realised that the Onkyo was the old box without 2160p60 support (due to lightning killing my previous amp)
So connected sat receiver direct to TV monitor
I can run with ViX, Pli and ATV to my 2160 monitor without issues - so not likely a driver issue.
You need to check your hdmi cable as it may be the limitation - while testing I used an old hdmi cable (I should bin it but it is a very long cable and convenient) that would only let me connect at 2160 30(which you can do in OpenPli), but once I changed the cable to a newer edition everything was fine.

I just remembered when I was setting up the box I had it connected to my samsung 22" (it was easier to do it that way) and it was set at 1080p when the screen went black I connected to my LG OLED with the same results. With reading the forums I didn't try to set it to 2160p. So I flashed it back to 5.1.022. I've now just gone back to 5.1.0.32 with it set at 2160p with no problems and the HDMI CEC now works, when switching off the TV it puts the receiver in standby and also the picons on front display are showing the right colours.

Always nice when someone responds after fixing an issue .... enjoy both receiver and TV!

Also remember this receiver supports multiboot, so you can flash to a new image (in a different slot), restore backup settings and check everything is OK before forgetting about the previous „old“ image

    Hi!
Still the same issue with quad & quad+, no video .
Think the fix is only for 4k models.

    Regards

    Hi!
Flashed my quad+ with OpenViX 5.1.032 and no video.
Changed the settings to "uhd colour on" in my Samsung TV and GOT video!!

The trick for me was to boot the quad+ after I change the settings in my TV,

    Regards

Can you help me please just purchased Gigablue Quad HD with OpenATV image & Wooshbuild, getting Audio but Black Screen can see Channels & Menu, Tried on different TV SAMSUNG working,
Tried changing HDMI leads, Had TV engineer out he just checked HD leads and ordered new panel for Samsung One Connect Box. Then I tried VU+ that works okay.
So it must be problem with Gigablue could it be OpenATV image or settings coming from box?
Any help appreciated my TV is Samsung EU55JS9000 with one connect box

Perhaps you should talk to ATV or Whoosh??!
Did you try the Samsung change in post #39??
So what AV settings are you using? Whats the VU+ box? is it using same settings?

Thanks for fast reply, i haven't tried changing TV settings as I only found this thread today, the Vu+ only just purchased s/hand all setting as previous user, I bought it to replace Technomate TM800HD then I read Gigablue was a superior box so bought a New one tried to set it up as in my request for help, would it be worth changing the image to one that works with this box?
will try to change TV tonight when I get home from work

The Vu+ Duo bought secondhand from ebay, will have to answer other questions after I put Gigablue back in action tonight, hopefully if I change TV settings it may display video.

You can control the settings on the box using the remote on OpenWebIf. You will have to find IP address from router.
