    HI, Guys!

I've successfully used a Seagate 5Tb external USB hard drive with my Solo 4K.

After a year's constant use, it MAY have failed (I'll have to run some diagnostics on it) and I replaced it with a 4TB drive in an external USB case. This new 4Tb drive was marketed as designed for Surveillance system use, suggesting that it's designed to be left on and recording 24/7.

    Hope this helps!

As per another recent thread, the only thing you have to watch out for is the physical size. 2T and below are 7 or 9mm high but 3, 4 or 5T could be 15mm high.
    Xtrend ET10K, 2 x satellite tuners 28.2 (Sky FTA), 2 x hybrid (UK Freeview), Zgemma H9S (satellite)

Do enigma receivers support SDD drives? The HDD I got from WOS is so loud you can hear it over the TV. I think it might be faulty.

SSD drives aren’t really suited for media use like constant recording erasing, recording, erasing. They will work, but they don’t like it.
