HDMI no signal - need to reboot

    Hi all

I set up the F1 and all is good ...until you put it in standby mode over night.

When I turn on the F1 the next day, there is no HDMI o/p signal to the TV.
Once I reboot the F1, the HDMI signal is ok.

The F1 is put in standby mode many times during the day and there is no issue , its just when its left over night, and I go to switch it on the next day that issue occurs.

Any ideas on what's going on ?

    Thanks

Sounds like a hdmi handshake issue with your tv.

    running
    Thanks
CEC is disabled and the issue still happens when left over night. If CEC is turned off there should be no handshaking with the TV ?
Could it be a script that is running over night ? {eg EPG script etc)

Has anybody had this issue ? Any solution would be much appreciated !

Going directly to your tv or via an Amp?

I re-flashed this and .... the same problem exits.
Looks like there is a problem with the F1. It is not practical to have to reboot the unit every day before you can turn it on.

looks like I will have to return it unless anybody has any suggestions ?

    Thanks

I turned off EPG updates & Auto Bouquet Maker ......and the problem doesn't happen !
The latest version of OpenVix is running

Now to find a solution as to why the above scheduled scripts are locking up the F1 and disabling the HDMI signal.
Is this a known bug ?

The F1 is not much good to me if it has no EPG !

What EPG are you using and where are you storing EPG?

I was using CrossEPG , however it did not run at the scheduled time , so I had to do manual downloads. I
have now disabled CrossEPG and I am now trying EPG-Importer.
The EPG is being saved to a SD Card.

I noticed today that the HDMI signal shut off randomly which would suggest it is not related to EPG - this needed a reboot.
