    Stronger satellite dish fixings

I fitted an 80cm dish last year and last night it all but came away from wall. It didn't drop as cables were secured with cable ties. But the bolts came away along with the rawl plugs.

I fixed dish with 10mm rawl plugs and 10x50mm lag bolts.

So I can refit the dish with 10mm rawl plugs along with some grab adhesive, with longer 80mm lag screws.

Or would these be a better choice, ive never used self tapping concrete screws so not sure of their strength...i already have 10mm holes drilled so i presume i need these 12mm bolts...

What are you fixing in to? If brick are you fixing into the center of the brick (recommended) or the mortar course inbetween the bricks (not recommended)

Masonary bolts will work. My freesat/sky zone 2 dish is fitted with them into brick and years later the dish is still up there in spite of the recent gales. No rawplug needed but the correct size hole is important. Possibly not sutable for very soft brick.

By the way, Toolstation do similar in packs of 5
