Maplin should have them if they are still open. Plenty of them on ebay. Any computer shop that does repairs will have loads of them and will probably give you them.

if you need them quick i would try B&Q otherwise i would try ebay.

i wouldn't go near Maplin as they will rob the eyes out of the back of your head.

Ye Maplin is and always has been a rip off with their stupid prices.

Any idea how much these are dont want wrong screws again?

Think need 4 for the caddy in the box. But they look like tiny screws.

i got m5 screws in B&Q last year for a saw they came in a little plastic box they were less than 5 euro for a box of 10. they were cheaper than any i found online as postage kills me since im in Ireland plus i got to test the screws with the nuts to make sure they were the right screws since you can easily open the plastic boxes.

thats what they look like, you dont really need 4 you will get away with 2 in most cases and sometimes they are just in such awkward places its more trouble than its worth to put in 4 especially if you ever have to take them out again.

Ye I bought those screws mate before but these are the ones that dont fit which is what I dont understand.

when you align the HDD in the caddy the holes are tiny and these screws just dont fit in them.

Not sure if doing something wrong.

bring the hdd into B&Q with you and try out the screws out to till you get a match that what i usually do.

you lucky the HDD is small they were looking at me like i had 2 head when i brought in a big circular saw to test screws out on.

Maplin have gone bust. Their remaining shops are full of clearance items at prices greater than can be found elsewhere.

Yes I am aware maplin have gone out of business.

Well looking at the maplin store items are not that "cheap" even those clearance items you are talking about.

    Cheers Abu.

Will try these then as ones I have are similar.

The hole in the caddy is very small as is the hole in the HDD. Looking at pictures on ebay they seem like big screws.
