    opnvpn IPK

    Hi is there a generic openvpn ipk?

    I have been working on a script to download and install openvpn as well as download the configs for my private network.

    Script here
    Code:
    https://github.com/davesayers2014/OpenVPN/blob/master/myvpn/myvpn.sh
    This works great until someone reported they receive feeds down for maintenance when going to openvpn when trying on an older image, the script is supposed to take care of that but I guess not so is there a generic IPK or will that not work as there are dependencies to install other files?

    I have commented out the wget download for now and used opkg --force-reinstall --force-overwrite install openvpn &> /dev/null 2>&1

    Till I can work it out.

    Does anyone have any ideas? I could do with something for boxes using older images.

    What if I used opkg update && opkg --force-reinstall --force-overwrite install openvpn &> /dev/null 2>&1

    Would this be bad for people on older images or boxes that are no longer supported?
