    Wireless Maximum Distance?

My friend lives in a retirement home and he wants to stream TV to his E2 box.
The modem which is shared is 100 to 150 yards from his room downstairs.
The only problem is that the owners won't let him use homeplugs as no one is allowed access to the modem.
    His speed is 10 mbps.
I'm wondering if he could stream the TV from that distance wirelessly.

    Hi,
100-150yards inside a building is a bit to much. I assume it is inside a building. With nothing but air between these 2 points it would be possible. I only have around 20yards and some walls in my house and direct streaming was impossible.

    ciao

    Thanks for your answer.
    Yeah, in a building.
Just wondering what the story would be if he was allowed to use homeplugs?

I am not sure if even homeplugs will work, depends on the wiring and how many spurs there may be before it reaches his room
