    Noob Question RE Unicable :-)

Folks I have not quite got my head around unicable yet
So Thought I would ask First before buying anything

My current setup Is a Duo2 with a dual sat tuner card DVB-S and a DVB-T single terrestrial card free to view only

At the moment I can record 2 sat stations or watch 1 and record 1 at same time

If I were to put in a unicable lnb with legacy out for my other sat box could I increase the amount of sat channels I could record to 4 to keep herself happy

From my very limited understanding virtual tuners are created but how many ( if Any ) can I get with only 1 twin tuner card

    Many thanks

No added benefit using a conventional tuner.

    Thanks for your reply
So I would not be able to record any more stations than the 2 that I can at the moment

Is there a Different tuner available that will work in the duo2 ?
    Thanks

FBC tuners are not available for Duo2. You could replace the terrestrial tuner with another dual sat one. Use a USB tuner for Terrestrial.

    Thanks for your help

I had this misguided idea that if I bought a unicable lnb I could simply connect it to my existing twin tuner card and configure virtual tuners and job done ( never that simple )

Thanks Abu for clearing it up I will leave it as is so
    Cheers
