Vu+ Zero won't start from standby

Hi there, I have updated my Vu+ Zero to the latest version of Openvix and seems to have picked up this problem, the box goes into standby mode and can't be started from the remote and needs switched on and off and then performs perfectly, it was running an older version of vix. 4point something and had no issues, only with the new version, I installed everything afresh, any ideas where to start, I bought a box for the old mother in law and it's doing exactly the same thing.

    Cheers

When you say latest, do you mean 5.0.020 ?

So put in standby and delete crossepg and epg.dat files from wherever you have them saved using Filezilla to access the receiver and reboot
There is also a recent thread where a script to do this was attached.

I would hope not If unsure then use a manual update now, which you need to do for your epg ...... or has it already run a daily update?

Your logs said EPG was corrupt. Ideally, it should have skipped it and discarded the EPG, not crash.
