    ...That's about Octagon drivers, nothing to do with SundTek.

    No. I think you don't understand.

    VTuner = USB tuner.

    So it means the Octagon drivers support up to four USB tuners.

    But you only have one USB tuner.

    It doesn't matter if the drivers support up to five billion tuners, if you only have one tuner installed that is all you can use.

    Just replying to the above drivers, I,ve tried on two occaisions to update to Vix 5 0 0 27, from vix 26.
    And on both occasions i,ve lost Audio and had to revert back to Vix26.

    The method i used to update was through the sf4008 menu-softwareupdate.

    Is anyone else having this problem ?

    When drivers change or any anything "major" I would always flash the image and restore backup settings. I personally would not software update (although I realise I am probably in a minority of 1) and because of that view I never software update.
    Might not stop your issue, but a new flash is worth trying

    ... although just read on another forum similar posts ref audio, so perhaps 2 steps forward by Octagon and 1 step back?

    Thank you twol.
    As always you explain things in laymans terms, And not in a cryptic fashion.
    And i sure not only myself appreciate that.

    I will possibly try a usb flash or may wait untill things settle.

    Thank you once again.
