    Octagon SF8 HD - XP1000

    hi, thinking of getting a Octagon SF8 HD - XP1000 from w.o.s. for my son as his first sat box, will it be ok for him and does it run iptv... thanks

    It runs iptv player fine

    I would spend a few quid more and get a new box the Octagon SF8 HD - XP1000 has been around for a couple of years now and has really old hardware

    I would look at these newer boxes

    I have both. The xp1000 and a edision OS mini.

    The xp1000 is fine but a bit slow.

    The Edision far outperforms it. If I was you I'd pay the extra £20 and go with the Edision.
