My setup and software versions are as per my signature.

My question is, if I update OpenViX on my Edision (client machine) to 5.0.002 and install the Channels Importer plugin there, will I be able to run it with my MiracleBoxTwinPlus (server machine) remaining on OpenViX 4.1.016?

Just got round to trying this, but sadly doesn't work. Blue screen crash. Oh well, thanks anyway Abu.

I've set everything up but the streaming doesn't work.

My slave is on Vix, and I can see Fallback Configuration under Service Searching.

However, my client is on Open ATV and I can't see a Fallback Configuration option under Service Searching.

Do I need to install Vix on the client too to be able to use the Fallback? Or can I set this feature up on my client in another way?

    OpenATV is in Setup/Usage & Gui/Customise
However, never tried OpenATV to OpenViX and with recent changes not sure if it would still be implemented the same way.
You can try but much easier to install OpenViX and install the plugin ... although it will get even easier in OpenViX in the near future to set up

Thanks. I've found the openvix setup and - like magic -it was already configured for me.

Still not streaming though I'm afraid.

Pretty confident that I have the client set up okay. Is there anything I need to/can do on the server side to get it running?

(I have RemoteChannelStreamConvertor set up okay, so I definitely have the capability to stream okay.)

I would clean install OpenViX on your client without settings and plugins restore and then install the Channels Importer plugin which will do everything for you.

I'm finding I have the same problem with this set up as I had with RSCC.

The serving box (my VU+Duo2) will randomly wake up from standby into the tuner that's being used by the client box.

This means I lose my connection.

Is there any way to keep the server in standby to stop this happening?

This is nothing to do with the plugin. Please start your own thread.

Hi. How can you say it is nothing to do with the plugin as it only wakes up when using the client. If both are in Stby it doesn't wake up.

Hi Guys. Does this work on multiple boxes or can you only have on box running off on server box? I wanted to have my main box in the living room, then run the fall back tuner in my kitchen on one box and in the bedroom on another box
