Setup ChannelsImporter and Fallback Config for the first time this morning - most impressive!

Huevos - you say that ChannelsImporter will be complete in 5.0.002 - what further features does it have - the scheduling elements?

Great piece of work - maybe even my wife will not run out of tuners for recordings now!

I can only remember ever seeing that feature using the 'Partner box' plugin not with 'Fallback tuner' but I've only started using Fallback again recently so I may of missed something. If you want that feature why not use RCSC ?

Hi mate, as Heuvos explains a lot of it is to do with the epg and synching the bouquets, also as someone else stated, remote fallback tuner seems to record on the client box better than RCSC.

The plugin just copies bouquets and epg from one box to another. It can configure the the fallback tuner for you too.

The tuner data is shared by fallback tuner facility in the image. There is no transcoding.

This sounds good ive just started using RCSC on my bedroom box works well but this sounds great.i will flash this weekend to give it a try

No. The plugin does not stream, it just downloads bouquets and EPG and sets up fall back tuner for you.


Yes. You can use fallback tuner on a receiver without a tuner. Whether you use this plugin or not.
