Signal way too high solo se

I recently bought a box from here solo se set everything up its running Vix image. set my network id up did the scan found channels, but getting some jumping on the picture. I have checked signal and its at 97% which i know this is too high, before i had a zgemma and the signal on this was at 29% i have a 6db on the cable and a splitter but just wondering if anyone can help me please to lower the signal.
I have been told it could be the external hdd that i have connected with is 1tb but i have tried it with and without doesnt make a difference. tried moving the phone because it was near the box this hasnt made a difference either.
    thank you

Was the attenuator installed for you while you had a splitter or not? If not, 6db may be too much.
