    virginmedia.ie 360Mb broadband

    How does virginmedia Ireland able to get a top 360Mb download speed and 36Mb upload speed when us in the main land UK can only get a slow 200Mb and its cheap in comparison to the UK

    Better initial infrastructure, less demand and bottleneck.
    Some parts of the UK can achieve 300mb on VM but you have to ring up and ask them for it, my green box isn't currently capable although my area is...

    Im luck were i live in the uk there is no over utilization so speed is the same at any time of day

    im on 200meg with vm never ever got any better than 50 meg....

    I find virgin media so unstable. You never get your full speeds.

    Have 150 Down and 10 Up. Superfast, super reliable - seems more than enough for the modern household.

    Go onto virgins site and put in an address outside Dublin and you will soon be told no virginmedia for you
    Here in Wicklow 18 mls from Dublin and no virgin services of any sort
    no tv no broadband no phone
    360 mb broadband pipedream
