    OpenATV

Purchasing a new box for a Christmas present and come across a good deal on a Dreambox, Black Friday deal.

This box doesn't run openvix unfortunately so wanted to have a test run with openATV on my miraclebox before deciding to purchase the Dreambox.

I can't for the life of me to get the miraclebox to read the image off the USB drive, tried a 4gb sandisk (works fine in my duo) also tried 8gb Kingston. Both formatted in fat32 with hpusbformat tool.

The box just boots up, doesn't read the USB at all and then when I put the USB back in the PC I get promoted to run a dish check because of errors on the USB caused by the miraclebox?

    Any ideas anyone please?

Can you not just FTP it over to image backups on the internal hard drive of the MB and flash with the image manager in vix?

Image Manager in openvix will flash any image.

openatv has "flash local/online". it too will flash any image.

Only issue is the splash screen.
