If you stick with it and get it working its actually very nice. I remember the key mappings to be more user friendly than Enigma1.

I am trying to get commando 14.7 my dream box it successfully installs no problem and I get the FTA channels, but I cannot see it on my network in dream box control centre therefore cannot enter any C line, anyone else experienced this problem or know how to fix it, never had this problem with the old gemini image.

you need to ensure you have an IP address on your commando dm500 obviously, but you havent mentioned if the box has an IP address or not. You need to resolve this first before you can move onto troubleshooting anything else.

    Menu, ok
    Settings, ok
    Network, ok
    Show active network settings, ok
    Network Inactive = no internet

    you should see
IP Address: 192.168.1.5 or similar ( make a note of it as this is your dreambox ip address)
