I've never been able to get HDMI CEC to fully work with any receiver and TV combination.

And you never will, as most manufacturers use their proprietary (sub-)protocol.
A good universal R/C (like the Logitech Harmony series) does a far better job.

Hi guys - I updated to the latest Vix image over the weekend (4.2.012) With SkyQ V1.6on my VU+Duo2, connected to a Samsung LED TV. Python 2.7.11. Not sure what other detail is relevant.
Anyway, in my old image I had the HDMI CEC set to switch the TV on to the correct HDMI input when switching the VU box on. This worked fine. And when switching the box off it would switch the TV off too. Now it does not! I've tried changing the settings in the "Setup" menu BUT can't get it to work! Any ideas?
I've tried all different combinations that I thought I had earlier.

    Thanks

I had a similar issue and a restart of the box sorted it.
