    FTP Using PuTTY

    Hi All,

I have been using FTP via my Firefox browser which works fine but now I want to copy over some files which require Enigma2 to be stopped.

I have followed a guide on here to download PuTTY and stop Enigma via the init 4 command however I'm getting an error.

I have entered 'root' as the username but not sure if I need to enter anything else when the prompt comes up for 'root@et8000:-#', I have tried entering the password but no success.

any tips etc... would be great.

    Thanks - Jason
