Signal break-up on 3 tuner (hybrd), splitter suggestions?

    Hi

I have set up a MB which is configured for cable, all 3 tuners are hybrid.
When one tuner set up all channels are ok but when I have all three enabled via a splitter I get picture break-up.
I have used a splitter, frequency upto 2500MHz but that doesn't solve the issue.

    Any other suggestions please?

    thanks

the splitter has decreased your signal.
you'll need a booster or something

instead of a splitter , try the loop throughs from each tuner, maybe the loss isnt as great then, ive no idea.

Ok, will try that rossi200 . Just need to purchase plug adapter now grrr

    with loopthrough is it merely:

main cable tuner into input 1
output of input 1 into input of tuner 2
output of tuner 2 into input of tuner 3
    ??

Splitter should be 5-1000mhz for DVB-C/T/T2.

in this context a splitter specified to 2500MHz will cover C/T/T2 without problems

I've posted from past experience, had issues with a few 5-2500 splitters in past and no bother with 5-1000.

It all depends on the strength and quality of your starting signal, the slightest bit of noise or attempt to split throws mine off.
Yet a powered splitter worked fine.
