EPG not working

I have a vu+ duo running vix 4.1, freshly flashed through the box.

However, the EPG doesn't work when I try to update it. I press the blue button > epg downloader then run that, but upon running, it attempts to download nothing and then finishes the downloader. Being new to the whole thing, I'm not sure if I missed a plugin that is needed for epg to work while I set the box up.

Guidance to fix this would be great and please feel free to ask for information, as said, I'm new to the whole thing and I'm not sure what would be helpful

How do you have your epg setup? Also as you have a Vu+ Duo do you have a swap file enabled?
